With Week 12 in the NFL. . .finally. . .in the books, we can fully start turning our attention to Week 13 and the conclusion of the Minnesota Vikings’ three-game homestand as they prepare to host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams have put out their initial injury reports for the week, so let’s take a look at who’s practicing and who’s not.
As always, we start with the visiting side.

Chark missed the Jaguars’ game against Cleveland last week, so he’s already ahead of where he was. He’s the best target that Jacksonville has in the passing game, so his progress this week will be something to keep an eye on.
Now, on to the home team.

The big name here, obviously, is Cook, who needed to be helped off the field early in the third quarter in the victory over the Panthers but somehow returned later on in the game. I’m guessing the Vikings are just being careful with him at this point.
Cleveland has practiced for the first time since the Chicago game, which is a positive sign. No word on what sort of illness Colquitt and Hill are dealing with at this point. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.
Those are your initial injury reports for the Vikings and the Jaguars. Again, there are some situations that we’re definitely going to monitor, and we’ll have the interim injury reports here for you tomorrow.
