A couple of big ones for the purple

It’s time to take a look at the final injury reports for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings leading into Sunday’s contest at U.S. Bank Stadium. There are a couple of important names on the report for Minnesota, but we’ll start out by looking at the visiting team as we always do.

Jacksonville Jaguars Week 13 Injury Report

Brandon Rusnak S Knee/Quad LP FP FP --

The Jaguars have already declared five players out for Sunday’s contest, only one of whom actually practiced at all this week. They also have three players listed as questionable, so there’s a chance that the visiting team is going to be pretty short-handed for this one. On the plus side for the Jaguars, it appears that Sunday will see the return of wide receiver D.J. Chark, who will be back after a one-week absence.

Now, on to the good guys.

Minnesota Vikings Week 13 Injury Report

Dalvin Cook RB Ankle LP LP FP --
Brett Jones OL Neck LP FP FP --
Eric Kendricks LB Calf -- LP FP --

Irv Smith Jr. will be sitting out this week for the third time in the last four games. The Vikings will continue to lean on Tyler Conklin as the #2 tight end with Smith out. The purple will also be missing D.J. Wonnum, who has done a fairly solid job since becoming a regular part of the rotation.

On the bright side, everyone else on the roster appears to be a full go, including Ezra Cleveland, who is set to make is return after missing two games with an ankle sprain. It will be interesting to see how the Vikings handle the guard situation, as Brett Jones has played fairly well in Cleveland’s absence.

Eric Kendricks, who gave folks a bit of a scare after being limited on Thursday, was a full go on Friday and did not receive an injury designation. Neither did running back Dalvin Cook, who was limited early in the week as well.

Those are your final injury reports for the Jaguars and Vikings, folks. If anything changes, we’ll bring you the news straight away.
