Coming off of a three-game homestand, the Minnesota Vikings will finish the 2020 NFL season with three of their final four games on the road. The first of those games comes on Sunday, as the team heads down south to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If the season ended today, the Vikings would find themselves as the #7 seed in the NFC, a pretty impressive feat after their 1-5 start. The Buccaneers are the team just ahead of them on the ladder, as they occupy the #6 spot in the NFC.
This also gives the Vikings another opportunity to take down Tom Brady. The Vikings had five opportunities to defeat Brady when he was the starting quarterback of the New England Patriots, and they failed each time.
Minnesota comes into this one with some pretty solid momentum, having won two in a row and five of their last six. Tampa, on the other hand, has lost three of their last four, though they are coming off of their bye week.
Kickoff for this one is scheduled for noon Central time on FOX, and it will be America’s Game of the Week as the play-by-play will be handled by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
