XFL Week 4 Schedule and Discussion

The new league has made it through the first month!

XFL: Houston Roughnecks at Tampa Bay Vipers Mary Holt-USA TODAY Sports

The new XFL has made it through the first month of their inaugural season, with four more games on tap for Week 4 of action. After three weeks, we’re down to just one undefeated team and one winless team, and I will continue to say that the action has actually been pretty good thus far. If you haven’t been watching to this point, I’d encourage everyone to give it a try.

The schedule for this week looks like this.

  • The early Saturday game will feature a battle between the East Coast and the West Coast, as the Los Angeles Wildcats (1-2) head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Guardians (1-2). Kickoff for this one is slated for 1:00 PM Central time and will be broadcast on ABC.
  • The late Saturday game will take us to the dome in St. Louis, as the St. Louis Battlehawks (2-1) will play host to the Seattle Dragons (1-2). The crowd in St. Louis was pretty crazy last week for the first pro football game in the city since the Rams departed, and I’m sure they’ll be into it again today. This one will be aired on FOX with kickoff set for 4:00 PM Central.
  • The early Sunday game will bring us the Battle of Texas, as the Houston Roughnecks (3-0) head to Dallas to battle the Dallas Renegades (2-1). Based on the records, this should be the best game of the weekend, and the only game this week between two teams that won in Week 3. This one starts at 3:00 PM Central time and will be on Fox Sports 1.
  • The late Sunday game will take place in Central Florida, as the Tampa Bay Vipers (0-3) play host to the D.C. Defenders (2-1). The Defenders suffered their first loss last week, while the Vipers haven’t really been able to get anything going offensively this season. This game will be on ESPN, and will get started a bit later at 6:00 PM Central.

So, if you’re going to be watching the games, come on in and talk about the action with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans, and enjoy your Saturday!
