Good Morning!

How’s everyone feeling about free agency and social isolation? Every year we get excited about free agency and every year the Vikings do something but nothing splashy ...yet somehow we’re all disappointed. I am bummed at some of the Vikings who have departed in free agency, others I understand due to signing a big money contract or aging out of their position. Fortunately for me, I’ve been practicing social isolation my whole life so this is like any average day for me, except for the mountain of toilet paper in my garage. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and you should stay home today, avoid social interaction except for here and #WashYourHandsForTed.

League News:

Consistent with the weekend thread, I’ll post league news in the comments section.

We come to today’s media selection: Michael Pierce 2019 Highlights
(our newest NT had some big boy plays, enjoy and this is from his youtube channel)

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, don’t touch your waiter’s face and Welcome Aboard!

Poll

If the Vikings were able to package their first round picks, currently the 22nd and 25th in a trade with the Giants for the 4th overall selection for Tua or your favorite QB in this draft would you approve?

Do the trade and run that card to the commish.

Don’t do the trade, those 1st round picks can be used to get two good players instead of one.

I’d rather try and move up next year for another QB projected in next year’s draft.
