Weekend Open Thread

Jerry Burns

Good Morning!

Shoutout to Lifer for posting a News and Links Fanpost yesterday; I was busy helping mrs_rob move the stuff out of her building for the last time as her business is now officially ended. Covid 19 is bad enough, worse it’s been politicized and I’m getting burned out on it, see yesterday’s comments of mine if you’re interested. I’m seeing more and more of you posting that your job is either ending or being curtailed because of Covid-19; best wishes to all of you and I hope you land on your feet soon. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and you should stay home today, avoid social interaction except for here and have a great weekend.

We come to today’s media selection: Jerry Burns Uncensored - Minnesota Vikings HC

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, don’t touch your waiter’s face and Welcome Aboard!
