Merry Monday, everyone!

It’s been a long day, and a long weekend, and I’m tired, so this will be fairly brief. Kiddo and I got out camping in the ice house over the weekend, and we didn’t get blown away by the wind this time, thankfully. From the looks of it, this was going to be on eo fthe last weekends of the season, the access from the shore was already pretty spotty, I couldn’t even drive onto the ice, I pulled everything out with the sled.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris posted his 2020 Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database, v2.0.

Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:

From the Sporting News, a reporter was fired because of a question he asked Jeff Okudah at the NFL Scouting Combine. What’s this? Standards for journalism? I thought that was a thing of the past.

The Sporting News has a list of upcoming key dates for the NFL off-season, along with news and rumors.

Also from The Sporting News, here are all the scores, along with highlights, from XFL week 5.

We come to today’s media selection:

Here’s a great one from Steve Miller, enjoy!

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the rocky mountain oysters.
