Rick Spielman has made the decision to move around the draft board, as the Minnesota Vikings have swung a deal with the New Orleans Saints.
The Vikings have sent pick #105 overall to the Saints, and in return they get the following:
- #130 overall (4th round pick)
- #169 overall (5th round pick)
- #203 overall (6th round pick)
- #244 overall (7th round pick)
This gives the Vikings an absolutely ridiculous number of picks. How ridiculous? The Vikings now have:
- Three fourth-round picks
- Three fifth-round picks
- Three sixth-round picks
- Four seventh-round picks
That’s a whole lot of selections. . .I don’t know what the heck Rick Spielman intends to do with all those picks, but they’ve got them. I don’t know if Rick Spielman is going “quantity” over “quality,” but maybe Spielman has something up his sleeve.
So, that wraps things up for the Vikings for Day Two of the 2020 NFL Draft, folks. We’ll be back again tomorrow for more!
