Good Morning!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Zoom meeting last night, we’ll have to consider doing it again for a special occasion. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and you should stay home today, avoid social interaction except for here and have a great weekend.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

The Front Page Writers have your Minnesota Vikings 2020 NFL Draft Tracker.

Ted has your Stock Market Report: NFL Draft, rounds 1-3

2020 NFL Draft Results: Minnesota Vikings select Cameron Dantzler.

2020 NFL Draft Results: Minnesota Vikings select Ezra Cleveland.

Vikings news from other sources:

From GM Rick Spielman addressed the media via video conference on Friday following the second night of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Matthew Coller at notes: Vikings in better shape with Ezra Cleveland pick than Trent Williams trade.

League News:

Consistent with the weekend thread, I’ll post league news in the comments section.

We come to today’s media selection:
Guardians of The Galaxy Awesome Mix - Vol. 1 & Vol. 2

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, don’t touch your waiter’s face and Welcome Aboard!

No more Covid 19 discussions.
