For their first pick on Day Three of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings took a player that might not have been on a lot of radars to start the day with the selection of South Carolina defensive end D.J. Wonnum.
This it the part of the draft that the Vikings seem to take chances on athletic edge types of players, and with Andre Patterson coaching up the defensive linemen for Minnesota, he’s going to have an opportunity to mold and shape yet another potential threat on the edge.
Wonnum appears to be a very good athlete, but part of the book on him is that he needs to add a little weight. With some time in an NFL strength and conditioning program, he could be a serious threat across from Danielle Hunter or Ifeadi Odenigbo.
We want to know what you think of the selection of D.J. Wonnum, folks. Give us your takes and vote here!
