2020 NFL Draft Grades: What do you think of the selection of James Lynch?

The Vikings get their interior defender

NCAA Football: Abilene Christian at Baylor Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings needed some assistance on the defensive front going into this draft, particularly at the three-technique spot. With Pick #130 in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Vikings selected a very productive player by grabbing James Lynch, a defensive tackle from Baylor.

Lynch picked up just about every defensive accolade that the Big 12 Conference had to offer in 2019, leading the conference in sacks. He’s going to have an opportunity to step in and at least rotate with Shamar Stephen at the three-technique spot, giving the Vikings some push on the defensive interior.

We want to know what you think of the selection of James Lynch by the Vikings at this spot in the draft. I think a lot of people expected him to go earlier than he did, so he might be a solid get at this spot.
