Merry Tuesday, everyone!

We’re slowly closing in on draft day, and it will be a far different draft than we’ve become accustomed to watching. What exactly it will look like is anyone’s guess, but I do know that I will consume volumes of dead meat from off of my smoker, and that’s really what matters.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris posted Chris Mock 2.0: For Those About to Mock.

Hercules Mata’afa was an undersized defensive tackle, but after this off-season, he is now a sized defensive tackle, per Chris. Dude’s gained 13 of a human since the season ended, good grief.

Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:

At NFL.com, Charles Davis ranks the draft prospects deserving of a Round 1 grade.

NFL.com posted their 2010s all-decade team, comprised of 54 coaches and players.

FoxSports highlights NFL teams and players who are stepping up to help their communities in the fight against COVID-19.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer discusses the upcoming draft, the possible end of pass interference review (thank God), and other NFL news of note.

We come to today’s media selection:

The 70s was one of the best decades for rock, and here’s a great one, this is Swedish Lotion by Aerosmith. Enjoy!

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags|
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.|
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try staying home unless you really need to go out.
