Drafttek's Latest Mock w/ Aggressive Trade for a 3rd First!

These update weekly if not even more, so go grab a look before April 14th if you want to see it.

Pretty interesting run for the Vikings. They allowed all the analysts to trade with each other resulting in 10! first round trades. Here's the Vikings' Results Here is earlier in the First

Pick 22: Denzel Mims

Pick 25 TRADED for Pick #29 and #81 but giving up #105...Basically, we move back 4 spots in the first round for moving our 2nd to last (Comp) pick of the 3rd up 24 spots.

Pick 29 AJ Epenesa

Pick 32 Kristian Fulton TRADED our 2nd all the way to 32 by offering Kansas City Pick #58, #81, #155, and a 2021 RD3 pick for Pick #32.

This is one hell of a way to restock talent on both Offense and Defense!! Mims does not have the polish of Jeudy, the speed of Ruggs or the physicality of Lamb, but he brings a size-speed-reach combo that reminds me of Moss. Might take a year or two to get his routes as dialed as Diggs, but I think he can be better due to his higher end speed, reach and short area quickness. Epenesa fits very nicely in to the DE rotation, and has the power to also rush from inside. We can still use Odenigbo to help AJ ease in and on passing downs. Fulton is easily the best remaining CB of this draft and the drop off from him to what is likely available at 58 is HUGE! He's got all the athletic tools you can ask for and has already produced at a very high level and against the best competition. Hell of a first round!!

Pick 89 (3rd) Raekwon Davis, DT 'Bama gives us a hell of a developmental 3-tech and solid depth along our DLine!

Pick 132 K'Von Wallace, S Clemson

Pick 201 Charlie Heck, OT North Carolina

Pick 205 Danny Pinter, OG Ball State

Pick 219 Rodney Clemons, S SMU

Pick 249 L'Jarius Sneed, CB Lou.Tech

Pick 253 Quez Watkins, WR So.Miss

Man!?!! Yes, OLine gets neglected, again, but we could still trade for Trent and we do have some young guys who may be improving with a full year in the system under their belts. The Safety Cupboard has been restocked, and Quez is a small school speedster who could develop in to a very legit deep threat WR4 for those last ditch, late game 4th and forever downs.

Reiff and a sliding pick in 2021 for Trent Williams based on games played and/or pro-bowl appearance should get the job done. IF Oli and Samia improve our play at the OGs we might be good enough to not mind if that sliding pick ends up being a 2nd rounder...

PS...MarkSP18, is that you running Draftek for the Vikings this year?
