Weekend Eve Open Thread

Good Morning, It’s Weekend Eve!

More surgery today, third in the last month and two days; that’s your opening to the weekend open thread. I’m busy and distracted right now with my son having to have multiple surgeries in the last five weeks. Thank you to Brad for posting the thread for me yesterday, I’ll get the weekend thread posted as usual but most likely I’ll be absent until I go back on service next Thorsday. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s weekend eve, you should get all your outdoor chores done early, have a beer or two and enjoy your long weekend.
