Good Morning, It’s Thorsday!

Your Thorsday Open Thread is up, running, and ready for business. I’m back on service for the next seven days; my commenting will be limited but I’ll pop in when I can. From the social media accounts it appears the major sports leagues are attempting to figure out a way to re-open; it will be interesting to see how they navigate theviruswedonotdiscuss and whether fans will be allowed into the stadiums. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thorsday - I was informed this is cultural appropriation, but I’m not smart and still don’t know what that means.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, don’t touch your waiter’s face and Welcome Aboard!

No Covid 19 discussions.
