Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Arif posted Norse Code Podcast Episode 328: #Friends.

Chris shared the latest reports which state that there will be no preseason and that team rosters will start with 80 players.

Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:

From NFL.com, 59 players have tested positive for Covid-19 at some point. This obviously doesn’t include players who had the virus, recovered, and were never aware that they had it.

In a series of tweets, Antonio Brown appears to have announced his retirement from the NFL, per The Sporting News.

CBS Sports brings up some interesting potential major Covid-related problems that the NFL may run into if they move forward with a 2020 season.

We come to today’s media selection:

Here’s another country music classic performed by some of the best singers in country music history: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. They are the Highwaymen, and they’re singing.........The Highwaymen.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Take the gender hatred elsewhere, it won’t be tolerated
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-If discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away\
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t wash your hands, touch each other’s faces often, and try the finger food.
