Good Morning, It’s Thorsday

Your Thorsday Open Thread is up, running, and ready for business. I’m back on service today and for the next seven days so words and links up here might get limited as I can’t see comments on my work computer. I was asked about Coral in the comments section yesterday which provides an easy segway here; Gone Fishin and I (along with several DNers) have sent several emails to various people at SB Nation/Vox regarding the current commenting platform. They are working to improve the platform to make it more user friendly but the only timeline I’ve seen is “before the season starts.” Also, a couple of people have asked; Gone Fishin and I aren’t going anywhere. I do realize that I have been commenting on the Fanpost at the Daily Gopher, Gone Fishin worked really hard over a period of four years to make the open thread what it is today, a place anyone can comment about the Vikings or other things of interest without getting personally attacked. At some point the Coral team will get the kinks worked out here, and we’ll be back in business, if you have questions for me that I can answer right click my username to reveal my email, yes I’ll answer you back. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thorsday - I was informed this is cultural appropriation, but I’m not smart and still don’t know what that means.
