Vikings activate Armon Watts from COVID-19 list, waive Bralon Addison

The roster moves continue

Armon Watts’ stay on the Minnesota Vikings’ reserve/COVID-19 list was a short one, as the team announced on Thursday morning that the second-year defensive tackle had been activated.

Watts was placed on the list on Tuesday, meaning that he was only out for a couple of days. Tough to envision a shorter stint on the COVID-19 list than that.

In order to make room for Watts on the active roster, the team waived wide receiver Bralon Addison. Addison was signed from the Canadian Football League back in January.

The Vikings’ active roster now stands at 80 players, with three players still sitting on the COVID-19 list. Those players are

  • OL Tyler Higby (placed on list on 27 July)
  • LB Cameron Smith (placed on list on 29 July)
  • OL Oli Udoh (placed on list on 29 July)

Since we’re obviously not able to fully keep abreast of developments at Training Camp this year, once more news about our favorite football team hits the wire, we will bring it to you here with our takes on it.
