We’ve gotten the first injury report of the week for the Minnesota Vikings as they prepare to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 action at U.S. Bank Stadium. Unlike last week, there are actually things to report with the purple on the injury front.

The most significant news of the day for the Vikings is that rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler did not practice on Wednesday because of a rib injury. No word on how severe things are at this point, but hopefully it’s a minor issue that he’ll be able to get over in relatively short order.

Here’s the full injury report for the Vikings from Wednesday.

Did Not Practice

  • CB Cameron Dantzler (rib)

Full Participation

  • CB Jeff Gladney (knee)
  • WR Bisi Johnson (knee)

The Colts also have some injury issues aside from the loss of running back Marlon Mack, who tore his ACL in the Colts’ loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Here’s what their injury report looks like.

Did Not Practice

  • TE Jack Doyle (ankle/knee)
  • S Malik Hooker (illness)
  • WR Zach Pascal (knee)

Limited Participation

  • S Julian Blackmon (knee)

Those are the initial injury reports for the Vikings and the Colts for this week. Obviously we’ll be monitoring the Dantzler situation and anything else that might change in these reports over the course of the next couple of days.
