We are less than ninety minutes away from kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium between your Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 NFL action. Both teams have released their inactive lists for this one, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting out.
We’ll start with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
- WR Chad Beebe
- CB Cameron Dantzler
- CB Harrison Hand
- DT James Lynch
- OL Oli Udoh
- DE Eddie Yarbrough
After being inactive last week, rookie offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland is set to potentially make his NFL debut this afternoon. Rookie defensive end D.J. Wonnum is also active today after being a healthy scratch for the opener. Udoh being out is a bit of a mild surprise, as is Yarbrough, who saw a decent number of snaps in the opener. We knew that Dantzler had already been ruled out.
Dru Samia has also officially been announced as the starter at right guard in place of Pat Elflein, as expected.
And now, on to the home team.
Indianapolis Colts
- DT Eli Ankou
- TE Jack Doyle
- QB Jacob Eason
- WR Dezmon Patmon
- LB E.J. Speed
- CB Rock Ya-Sin
Ya-Sin being out could potentially be a significant blow to the Colts, as he’s one of their starters at the cornerback position. It sounds as though he’s a healthy scratch, so I’m not entirely sure what the story is there.
Those are your inactive lists for today’s contest, folks. Our first discussion thread of the day will be up at the top of the hour, approximately 11:00 AM Central time.
