Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Alright, this will be brief. I apologize, but it’s been one of THOSE days, and I’m ready to put it behind me.. By the time you’re reading this, it’ll be a fresh new day, full of promise. Not much to talk about, other than the fact that we may not have a game on Sunday, which, with the way the team has been playing, won’t be the end of the world, unless Sunday is actually the day the world ends, but that would just be a HUGE coincidence.

Around the DN since the last open thread:

Chris has a preview of the Vikings/Texans game that may or may not be.

The Vikings released a statement in conjunction with Covid-19 testing.

Three Titans players tested positive for Covid-19, per Chris.

Arif posted Norse Code Podcast Episode 340: The Justin Jefferson Show.

Reidell4 posted Unbelievable! - More Than Expected, Still A Loss.

Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:

From Vikings.com, hear the latest regarding the positive Covid tests and the team’s responses.

We come to today’s media selection:

Here’s one from Metallica from the Master of Puppets album, still one of my favorite albums of theirs. Some would say it describes Sunday’s game. Enjoy!

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion

-No feeding of the trolls

-Take the gender hatred elsewhere, it won’t be tolerated

-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)

-If discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags

-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer}

-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on, you’ll have to stand, yesterday’s melt down disintegrated all of the picnic tables.
