In a bit of a surprise, the Minnesota Vikings have waived one of the offensive linemen that has been with the team for some time and actually got first-team reps in Training Camp this year.

The Vikings have waived offensive lineman Aviante Collins, according to numerous sources.

Collins has been with the Vikings since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Christian in 2017. He saw time as a sixth offensive lineman in “heavy” sets as a rookie, but had battled injuries over the past couple of seasons.

It doesn’t sound like the team will be bringing Collins back, as reports say that he is going to be “weighing his options” at the present time.

We are continuing to track all of the Vikings’ roster moves as the team gets down to 53 players by the 3:00 PM Central time deadline. Keep track of all the moves right here on our Roster Cut Tracker.
