Good Morning, It’s Thursday!

I got home late this morning so words up here no one reads will be short. mrs_rob is going to do a 50k this weekend, we had plans to go together but I have other family obligations keeping me around the house. The kids and I will be here all together, we’re already planning something to put on the smoker (brisket I think) plus we’ll grill Friday through Sunday. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thursday, one more day until weekend eve.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Report: Broncos to sign George Paton as General Manager. After several years of speculation, Paton is finally moving on.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, wear a mask and Welcome Aboard!
