AFC Divisional Playoffs Discussion: Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs

The games are back!

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

With one half of this year’s AFC Championship Game already set, the other half will be determined in Sunday’s first playoff contest as the Cleveland Browns travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the reigning World Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs earned the lone bye in the AFC this season as the top seed, so they have a week of rest coming into this one. . .two weeks when you consider that they didn’t play anyone important in their season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Browns had to play last week and rode a huge 28-point first quarter to a 48-37 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field last week.

If the Chiefs win this one, they will host the Buffalo Bills next week at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Championship Game. Should the Browns pull off the upset, they will travel to Buffalo for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

Kickoff for this one is scheduled for 2:05 PM Central time, and the game will be broadcast on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call.
