NFC Divisional Playoffs Discussion: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints

An all-NFC South battle looms

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

Our final game of the Divisional Playoffs is for the right to go to the NFC Championship Game, and it will be an all-NFC South battle as the New Orleans Saints play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As division rivals, these two teams have met twice already this year. They opened the season in New Orleans, with the Saints coming out on top by a score of 34-23. The Saints also blew out the Buccaneers back in early November by a score of 38-3, so Tampa Bay will be hoping to avoid the three-game sweep.

The winner of this one will win the right to head to Lambeau Field next weekend to face the Green Bay Packers in this year’s NFC Championship Game.

Again, like the other NFC game from yesterday, I think we all know who we want to see win this one. Here’s hoping that they can pull off the upset so there’s at least a chance that the NFC representative in the Super Bowl won’t make Minnesota Vikings’ fans wretch.

Kickoff for this one is scheduled for 5:40 PM Central time, and it will be broadcast on FOX with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

If you’re going to be watching this one, come on in and talk about everything that’s happening with your fellow Vikings fans!
