We’re just a shade under ninety minutes from kickoff at Ford Field, and the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions have both released their final inactive lists of the 2020 NFL season. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
- RB Dalvin Cook
- CB Cameron Dantzler
- G Kyle Hinton
- DE Jalyn Holmes
- CB Chris Jones
- LB Eric Kendricks
- DE Ifeadi Odenigbo
Pretty easy to do the inactives for the Vikings this week, as they declared six players as “out” on the final injury report. The team will also be without left tackle Riley Reiff, who is still on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list. So, it’s a pretty short-handed squad for the purple in this one. Hinton, who was just called up to the active roster earlier this week, will not make his NFL debut today.
Now, on to the home team.
Detroit Lions
- LB Jamie Collins Sr.
- OT Tyrell Crosby
- G Joe Dahl
- WR Kenny Golladay
- DT Albert Huggins
- S Bobby Price
- OL Logan Stenberg
Collins, who was listed as “questionable,” joins the three players that the Lions had already listed as out (Crosby, Dahl, Golladay). Other than that, no significant surprises for the Lions.
Those are your inactive lists for today’s game, folks. We’ll have the first discussion thread for this season-ending contest up and running at 11:00 AM Central time, an hour before kickoff at Ford Field.
