Happy post-win Monday, everyone!
As of this writing, we’re still waiting to see if anyone wishes to claim the NFC East, it will either be the NY Giants or the Team With No Name, we shall see.
As far as the game goes, hey, a victory is a victory, so I’ll enjoy it. I know that some think a loss yesterday would have been better, but I disagree. I always root for the team to win, I think the team always tries to win, and I think it’s better to end the season on a good note, so I’ll enjoy yesterday’s victory. The defense, or what’s left of it, didn’t look stellar, but Justin Jefferson led the Dalvin Cook-less offense, and they stepped to help the team put notch number 7 in the W column. We’ll have the remainder of this very long off-season to discuss the team’s 2020 season and what they’ll need to do in order to compete in 2021, so I’ll dive into that sometime in a future open thread. For now, let’s enjoy the victory, and let’s not forget to celebrate a historic season by Justin Jefferson, a young player we will enjoy watching for years to come. SKOL!!!!!
Around the DN since our last open thread:

Here are all of the NFL week 17 scores and highlights, courtesy of ESPN.
From Vikings.com, see all of the highlights from yesterday’s win, see Justin Jefferson’s post-game presser, and there’s a LOT more to sift through in the media vault.
We come to today’s media selection:
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Take the gender hatred elsewhere, it won’t be tolerated
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-If discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on, don’t forget to tip your hat to Justin Jefferson (from a minimum of six feet away, of course), and try to be happy for a few hours.
