We’re now about an hour and a half before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings have released their inactive lists for today’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the visiting team.
Detroit Lions
- DL Eric Banks
- DE Jashon Cornell
- RB Jermar Jefferson
- WR Tom Kennedy
- LB Jesse Lemonier
- CB Daryl Worley
Curiously, the Lions listed five players as “questionable” on their final injury report on Friday and all of them are active, including tight end T.J. Hockenson and right tackle Penei Sewell. That seems a bit weird, but that’s how the Lions have done things today.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- RB Dalvin Cook (ankle)
- G Wyatt Davis
- DE Patrick Jones II
- QB Kellen Mond
- DT Michael Pierce (elbow/shoulder)
- WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette (toe)
Cook gave it a go in pre-game warm-ups, according to reports, but he is not going to suit up for this one. Adjust your fantasy football lineups accordingly. Anthony Barr will, for the first time this season, be active and starting next to Eric Kendricks for the Minnesota defense.
And those are your inactive lists for today’s game, folks. We’ll have our Open Thread for the first quarter of play hitting the site at approximately 11:00 AM Central time.
