We’re a bit late on this one, but there’s still plenty of time to get your votes in, so let’s get to it!
Members of the Minnesota Vikings were nominated for both the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week Award for their performances against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
Kirk Cousins was nominated for the Air Award for this week following his 373-yard, three-touchdown performance, including the game-winner to K.J. Osborn in the Vikings’ 34-28 overtime win. He’s going up against some formidable competition in Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott (445 yards, three touchdowns, one interception in a victory over New England) and Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr (341 yards, two touchdowns) in a victory over Denver.

Dalvin Cook was nominated for the Ground Player of the Week Award on the strength of his 140 yards and a touchdown against Carolina. He’s also facing some pretty stiff competition from Indianapolis Colts’ running back Jonathan Taylor (145 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Houston) and New England Patriots’ running back Damien Harris (101 yards and a score in a loss to Dallas).
