SB Nation Reacts: Vikings fans gaining confidence after bye week

Don’t look now, but it appears that the bye week has given fans of the Minnesota Vikings a boost of confidence going into a very difficult part of their schedule.

According to our latest SB Nation Reacts poll, we are back up to more than a majority of fans that have confidence in the team. The figure is now up to 54%, which isn’t terribly high, but given how low it had dropped it’s still a pretty nice recovery.

• Week 1: 61%
• Week 2: 34%
• Week 3: 38%
• Week 4: 76%
• Week 5: 14%
• Week 6: 24%
• Week 7: 36%
• Week 8: 54%

We also had one Vikings-specific question for this week, as we asked how everyone thought the Vikings would do with their four-game gauntlet coming out of the bye (vs Dallas, at Baltimore, at Los Angeles Chargers, vs Green Bay). Folks seem to be pretty even-keeled about this, as 65% of those that responded said that the Vikings will split those four games.

• 4-0: 2%

Here’s hoping that the Vikings handle these next four games at least as well as 85% of the fans think they’re going to. The competitive portion of the season will basically be over if they don’t.
