Television coverage: WCCO-4 in the Twin Cities, CBS affiliates around the country, DirecTV Channel 707

Chris’ Prediction: Vikings 31, Browns 27
Three Keys
1) Keep playing disciplined - After a dozen penalties in the season opener against Cincinnati, the Vikings have been flagged just seven times in the past two games combined. As a result, the offense and the defense have looked significantly better. Imagine that? The Vikings need to continue this trend to keep themselves on schedule against a very good Browns team.
2) Keep Kirk Cousins upright - The Browns have a very good pass rush, led by Myles Garrett, who set a Browns’ team record last week with 4.5 sacks. With Rashod Hill struggling a bit at left tackle, the Vikings might have to take some steps to help him out with protections to keep Garrett away from Cousins and keep the offense clicking the way it has the past two weeks.
3) Keep the crowd in the game - Last week, it was pretty easy to see that the home crowd did help the Vikings out quite a bit, despite them allowing Seattle to march down the field on the opening possession. The Vikings need to do things to keep the crowd rowdy in this one in the hopes that they can help to disrupt the Browns on both sides of the football.

As always, we will have a brand new Open Thread up at the start of each quarter, so be sure to keep your eyes open for that and keep the discussion moving along accordingly.
With that, the Vikings have a chance to get themselves back to even with a victory in this one. Hopefully we’ll all be back here in about three hours to celebrate the start of a winning streak for our favorite team.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
