It’s halftime in this Sunday Night Football contest, and the Minnesota Vikings lead the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 10-3 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Cowboys had the ball to start the second quarter, and Cooper Rush got things going by throwing a pass over the middle that was tipped by Harrison Smith into the hands of the former Cowboy, Xavier Woods, for an interception to end that drive.

The Vikings could only manage one first down on the subsequent drive and punted it back to Dallas. Dallas got on the board on the ensuing possession, as Greg Zuerlein punched it through from 38 yards out to cut the Minnesota lead to 7-3 with just over six minutes left in the half.
Minnesota looked like they were stopped on the next drive, but the Cowboys jumped offside on the punt and gave the Vikings a free set of downs. Then, the Vikings went for it on 4th-and-inches from their own 45-yard line and Kirk Cousins hit Adam Thielen for a big 32-yard gain just before the two-minute warning. The drive stalled out and the Vikings settled for a 44-yard field goal from Greg Joseph to make it 10-3 with 1:44 left in the half. That’s how the half ended as the Cowboys couldn’t muster anything on offense before the half, but they’ll get the ball coming out of the locker room.
