Monday Open Thread: October 4, 2021

Happy Monday, everyone!

Well, the offense looked great on the first drive yesterday, they chewed up more than 7 minutes off the clock and ended the drive with a touchdown. Then they took the rest of the game off. Cousins was bad after that drive, as was the rest of the offense. It was ugly. They possessed the ball for 24 and a half minutes, and 7+ minutes of that was on the first drive. They have to play better than they did yesterday, because that was s**t.

The defense did their job. I was pleased to see that they continued to play well, as they have been since that awful first quarter against the Seahawks last week. When you hold your opponent to 14 points, your team should win. That didn’t happen yesterday. If the defense continues to play how they’re playing, this team will win some games, as long as the offense can get back on track. The team is 1-3, and the season is not lost. SKOL!!!!!
