We’ve gotten the final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions as they prepare for Sunday’s NFC North matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium. Let’s take a look at what both teams have put out, starting with the visiting team.

The Lions haven’t officially ruled anyone out of this one, but they have a raft of guys that are going to be game-time decisions. As we mentioned yesterday, the Lions’ offensive coordinator said that yesterday they were planning on being without their first-round pick, Penei Sewell, but he was a limited participant in practice on Friday after missing the first two sessions of the week. We won’t know a whole lot about how the Lions are going to play their injuries until we get the inactives before kickoff on Sunday afternoon.
Now, on to the home team.

The Vikings will be without Michael Pierce for this one, as the injury he aggravated in the loss to Cleveland is going to leave him unable to go for this one. Ihmir Smith-Marsette will miss his second consecutive game after the injury he suffered in Week 3.
Dalvin Cook was limited in practice on Friday after missing the first two sessions of the week and has been listed as questionable. He insists that he wants to continue to play through his ankle issue, but it might be best for the team to let him sit this one out in order to help him get himself right again. He’ll be the dreaded “game-time decision” as well, it would appear.
Those are your final injury reports for the Lions and the Vikings heading into Sunday’s matchup. We’ll have more coverage of this one for you as we get closer to kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium.
