Two teams coming off of pretty brutal losses. . .though the brutality comes for different reasons. . .will meet at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, as the Minnesota Vikings will take to the road to battle the Baltimore Ravens in a game that will feature more purple than a Prince Tribute Concert.
We know what happened to the Vikings this past week. Facing a backup quarterback, at home, coming off of the bye week, the offense went into hibernation after the opening drive and the result was a 20-16 loss on Sunday Night Football to the Dallas Cowboys. The game against the Cowboys was the start of a hellacious gauntlet of games for the Vikings and they missed a golden opportunity to give themselves some momentum going into this one.
The Ravens are coming off of their bye week, but the week prior saw them get stomped at home by the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 41-17. The Ravens, who have the 32nd-ranked pass defense in the NFL, allowed Joe Burrow to throw for over 400 yards and three touchdowns. Despite that, because of the Bengals’ loss to the Jets this past Sunday, the Ravens once again find themselves at the top of the AFC North heading into this game.
According to our friends at the DraftKings Sportsbook, the Ravens are currently a 6-point favorite over the Vikings, with the over/under sitting at 50 points. You can keep checking back with DraftKings for the latest odds as the week goes on.
