It’s time for the final injury reports of the week for the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens ahead of their clash at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Let’s take a look at what’s developed for both sides and who might be missing this weekend’s contest.
Minnesota Vikings Week 9 Injury Report
There will not be a Michael Pierce revenge game after all, as the big man will miss his fourth consecutive game. I’m not sure why the Vikings didn’t put Pierce on IR when this whole thing started, but they didn’t. Anthony Barr and Cameron Dantzler are both listed as questionable after missing a practice earlier in the week. The Vikings are going to need both of them on Sunday, so hopefully they’ll be ready to go when things kick off in Baltimore.
Harrison Smith is a late addition to the report. He got a veteran rest day on Wednesday and then had a groin injury added to his status for Friday. Again, we’ll have to see how this shakes out as we get closer to game time.
Baltimore Ravens Week 9 Injury Report
The Ravens have not officially declared anyone “out” for Sunday’s game, though they do have their starting right tackle, Patrick Mekari, listed as doubtful. They also have former Vikings’ running back Latavius Murray listed as doubtful, so we won’t be seeing that old friend on Sunday afternoon.
Three Ravens are listed as questionable, including a pair of receivers. Rashod Bateman, the former Golden Gopher, missed several games at the start of the season with an injury and has only appeared in two games so far this year. Sammy Watkins hasn’t played for a few weeks and hadn’t practiced for a couple of weeks prior to his return to practice on Thursday. Big defensive tackle Brandon Williams is also listed as questionable for the home team.
Those are your final injury reports leading up to Sunday’s game between the Vikings and Ravens, folks. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to let you know about it.
