Everyone hold four fingers up above your heads, because we’re heading to the final fifteen minutes at M&T Bank Stadium with your Minnesota Vikings leading the Baltimore Ravens by a final score of 24-17.
The Vikings started the second half in style, with rookie Kene Nwangwu taking the second half kickoff and returning it 98 yards for a touchdown! It’s his first NFL score, and hopefully the first of many. Greg Joseph’s extra point put the Minnesota lead back to two touchdowns at 24-10.

Baltimore converted a 4th-and-2 in their own territory on the next drive and pushed deep into Minnesota territory, setting up a first-and-goal at the 7. They ultimately faced a 4th-and-goal from the 1, and Lamar Jackson found fullback Patrick Ricard for a score. Justin Tucker hit the extra point, and the score was 24-17 in favor of the Vikings with just under nine minutes remaining in the quarter.
It looked like the Vikings were going to go three-and-out on the next drive, but they ran a fake punt for the first time in forever, and Nwangwu picked up the first down for the good guys.
