The results of our SB Nation Reacts poll for this week are out and. . .well. . .we can definitely say that the Minnesota Vikings and their fans have seen better days.
Yes, after the team’s thoroughly embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, the amount of fans that have confidence in the team resembles something you’d see in the dairy section of your local supermarket: 2%.
And, honestly, even that seems a little too high.
- Post-2021 NFL Draft: 96%
- Week 1: 61%
- Week 2: 34%
- Week 3: 38%
- Week 4: 76%
- Week 5: 14%
- Week 6: 24%
- Week 7: 36%
- Week 8: 54%
- Week 9: 2%
Again, we should have known better. This is the Minnesota Vikings we’re talking about. . .we should have thought twice before allowing ourselves to gain even a little bit of confidence in the direction that this team is headed in.
I think that, in all the time we’ve been doing these Reacts over the years, this is as low as things have been. I certainly don’t remember the number getting lower than 2% and, you know, it literally can’t get a hell of a lot lower than that.
We’ve got nowhere to go but up, folks. Will we go up after tomorrow’s game against the Ravens? I can’t say for sure, but we’ll meet up back here next week to find out.
