Harrison Smith OUT of Ravens game due to COVID

We’re about an hour and a half away from the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens kicking things off in Baltimore, and the hammer has dropped on the Vikings’ defense. Again.

The team has announced that safety Harrison Smith has been placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list. If he is unvaccinated. . .and it is believed that he is. . .it means that he will not only miss today’s game against Baltimore but next week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers as well, as he will have to isolate for ten days.

To replace Smith. . .in so much as he can be replaced. . .the team has elevated Myles Dorn from the practice squad to the 53-man roster

This is a significant blow to the Vikings’ defense against a Ravens team that can put up points in bunches. The team had an uphill battle ahead of them before this came up, and it’s only going to be more difficult because of this.

Once again, Vikings’ safety Harrison Smith has tested positive for COVID-19, and will miss today’s game against Baltimore and, in all likelihood, next week’s game against the Chargers as well.
