Merry Tuesday, everyone!
This period of the year is my least favorite part of the year, I call it sports purgatory. Football has ended, baseball hasn’t started yet, and the only real sport being played is hockey. For some of you, hockey fills the void. For me, although I’m from North Dakota, I’m not a huge hockey fan, so the hockey season doesn’t do a lot for me. I’ll watch a game here and there, and I’ve become a fan of the Wild (and the Bruins, because I got a chance to meet several of their players when we were out in Boston, and they were stand-up guys), but I’ve never gotten interested enough to follow an entire season. No, the only thing that helps me through this time of year, besides spending time with the family, of course, is ice fishing, and it won’t be long until that comes to an end as well. Then it’ll be a white-knuckle ride to try to hold on until baseball season, and that’s only IF the plague doesn’t prevent the baseball season from happening. I need to spend more time commenting here again, that has always helped.

NFL.com ranked all 59 quarterbacks who started in 2020. I was going to go through this and note all my disagreements, but I wouldn’t be done in time to get to work.......next Monday. If nothing else, it’ll give you plenty to gripe about.
Titans 2020 first round pick Isaiah Wilson got on Twitter to tell everyone that he’s “done with football as a Titan”, per the USA Today. Well, that relationship didn’t last long. The offensive tackle only played in the final moments of one game for the Titans last year, and it appears that those final moments will be his only moments as a Titan. Wilson was arrested for DUI prior to the team’s first game, and the team placed him on the reserve non-football illlness list to finish the season, citing “personal issues, which will take some time for him to work through”, according to the story. Zimmer? You think you can work some magic with this guy?
