The newest Vikings Report is out, and the fastest growing podcast on the Internet* keeps bringing the heat. This week:
*Seriously, we’re gaining subscribers faster than opponents gained yards on the Vikings defense last season.
Jersey Segment: Drew and I discuss the unheralded greatness of Jim Kleinsasser, and I tell the story of how my ‘People’s Champion’ post happened at training camp back in 2011, and how I met his Aunt Doreen.
Vikings and NFL News: We go over the latest Kirk Cousins fever dream trade scenarios, and I ask Drew why there is such a fascination with wanting to trade him. We talk the salary cap and Kirk’s fully guaranteed 2022 salary if he’s on the roster by the third league day of 2021, and why Kirk may have his shortcoming but why a QB trade probably isn’t in the cards for the Vikes.
Position Group Review: This week we look at tight ends. Of course we discuss Kyle Rudolph’s contract situation and the rest of the players on the roster. From there, we look at possible free agent targets (lol this FA class is ass) and then Drew brings the heat when talking about potential draft prospects at the position.
Trivia: Drew and Ted take on the field in trivia, as we attempt to answer some great questions provided by our viewers and listeners.
Drew, Toonces, Producer Liz, and I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough. In six weeks we’ve eclipsed 1,600 subscribers on You Tube, and the comments keep growing each week. Don’t forget to register for the Justin Jefferson jersey giveaway we’re doing on Thursday, April 29th, during our live draft show on our YT channel, and yes, Fearless Leader himself, Mr. Chris Gates, will be our special guest that evening. We’ll also have a few other giveaways and a draft contest between us three and the field, too.
We’ve started a Patreon account, where you can get access to some behind the scenes stuff, and early access to the show. We aren’t going to pocket any money we get from Patreon; it will go right back into the show to fund things like our Jefferson jersey giveaway and other future prizes.
