What Free Agents do you want?

NFL: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Free Agency is opening up in less than an hour. We don’t have much to spend, but we have some and could open some more money up with some restructures of Barr, Thielen, Harrison Smith and others. I am listing a few of the intriguing ones to me. List in the comments who you want.

These rankings are according to the PFT Top 100 Free Agent List:

Offensive Line (a couple of my guard targets were signed this past weekend)

21. Patriots guard Joe Thuney - should be our #1 target IMO

8. 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams

57. Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher - injured? Could come cheap on a 1 year deal

20. Packers center Corey Linsley - can he play gourd?

54. Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva

Defensive Tackles (Cheaper Options)

87. Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi

92. Saints defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins

Defensive End (we need pass rush and there are a ton of players available)

16. Bengals edge Carl Lawson - young and talented

22. Saints edge Trey Hendrickson - 13.5 sacks last season

40. Lions edge Romeo Okwara - 10 sacks last season

43. Seahawks edge Carlos Dunlap - getting old, but still has some left in the tank (6 sacks)

64. Colts edge Justin Houston - getting old, but still has some left in the tank (8 sacks)

71. Browns edge Olivier Vernon - getting old, but still has some left in the tank (9 sacks)

91. Colts edge Denico Autry - possibly a cheaper option and had7.5 sacks last season

Defensive Backs (I don’t expect to be big spenders on DBs, but could pick up a CB on the cheap)

81. Chargers safety Rayshawn Jenkins - could be a cheaper option to replace Ant Harris

27. Rams safety John Johnson - probably more than we can afford

31. Bengals cornerback William Jackson III

32. Rams cornerback Troy Hill

33. Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin

45. Broncos cornerback A.J. Bouye

47. Steelers cornerback Mike Hilton

49. Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson

72. Washington cornerback Ronald Darby

70. Titans cornerback Desmond King

89. Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar

97. Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander

98. Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland

I don’t expect much. I am hoping for an offensive lineman (guard) and a pass rusher. I would take Joe Thuney and Denico Autry as my guesses, but that is simply a guess. No real info other than purple Kool-Aid and hope. Maybe one of those 70-100 ranked CBs could find their way to MN. Does Mac Alexander hate us?
