The Vikings have brought back Chad Beebe on a one year deal. It is reportedly for the vet minimum of $920k. Chad was the 3rd WR on the depth charts for most of last year. He caught 20 balls for 201 yards and two TDs. Chad’s most memorable play came on his first career TD. He muffed a punt to give Carolina the ball on the Vikes’ own 14 late in the game. The defense held for a FG. The following drive was capped off by a nice catch in the middle of the end zone by Beebe. It was one of Kirk’s finest drives of the year even if it did come against a bad team.
Not an exciting move by any means, but I am sure he will have the opportunity to fight to keep his 3rd WR spot. I am hoping we bring in a better punt returner and WR and he ends up being depth.
The @Vikings take the lead on Chad Beebe’s first career touchdown! #SKOL
