First, thanks to all who organized and participated in the DN's 2021 Mock Draft. It was a lot of work but I thought everyone took it seriously and drafted in accordance with both the Team's interests and reality in mind.

The following analysis is based on the First 4 Rounds of the DN Mock, the Rich Miller Draft Value Chart, and the NFL Mock Draft Big Board Consensus.

Insight #1: Positions' Draft Value largely follow Free Agent costs of Positions

The one exception in this year's draft is Edge, where the 2021 NFL Draft looks weak. Our draft actually reached a bit for both Edge Rushers and RB's. Alternatively, our drafters seemed sly in drafting iOL's lower than the Consensus.

Insight #2: "Draft Alabama Players" dude need not worry.

Insights 3 & 4: Jacksonville, Miami, and the NYJets have a lot of draft capital and some of our Drafters focused on extracting a lot of value in their picks by the Consensus Big Board. (MidWinterViking, RaaRules, GASkol, and tankCommanderRyck are like the Seahawks and Packers -- they don't care about the Consensus, they like who they like!)

The First Annual Open Thread Live Draft 1st Round. 2nd Round 3rd Round and 4th Round.
