In case you had not already heard, the news recently came out that current New Orleans Saints head coach and noted human colostomy bag Sean Payton was going to have part of his life made into a movie by Netflix.
The movie will talk about how Payton spent 2012, which is the year he spent coaching his son’s sixth-grade football team and not the New Orleans Saints due to the revelations that he is, in fact, cheating garbage. On the upside, it was announced that the role of Payton in the movie would be played by Kevin James, who you might know from The King of Queens and Paul Blart: Mall Cop, among other things, and who generally seems like too decent a guy to be lumped in with the likes of Payton.
So, inspired by a couple of folks on the Twitters, I started to wonder who would play the role of Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer if anyone were to make a movie about his life and times. I considered Samuel L. Jackson, who might be a fit language-wise but probably not so much when it comes to. . .you know. . .pretty much anything else.
But I think I’ve found a solid fit.

My choice for a Mike Zimmer biopic actor would probably have to be Dennis Quaid. Quaid has been in a lot of stuff, like Any Given Sunday and The Day After Tomorrow, and is right around the same age bracket as Zimmer (Quaid is about three years older).
Honestly, Zimmer is a bit of a tough one to figure. But I think my pick is a fairly solid one.
Who do you think would be the choice to play Mike Zimmer in a movie about his life, folks?
