Good Morning!

This is going to go down as the “what could have been” draft; trading down to the 23rd spot and still getting Christian Darrisaw was a gutsy move, you’d have to think Rick had more than one player in mind at that draft slot but it worked out the Vikings get a very good prospect at LT. Justin Fields-what could have been...as he was within draft capital range of the Vikings, congrats to the Bears for having the stones to move up and get their man. The Vikings don’t currently have a 2nd round selection, but with four 3rd round picks they can move back up today fairly easily. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s weekend eve, time to plan the beer and meat menu for the weekend.
