2021 NFL Draft: Second Round Discussion

Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft will be getting underway from Cleveland in approximately 30 minutes or so, and this is your spot to start discussing everything that is happening as this year’s selection meeting rolls along.

As we’ve mentioned in previous posts, the Minnesota Vikings do not have a pick in the second round of this year’s Draft. . .at least, as things stand right now. However, they do have four picks in the third round, and we’re pretty much expecting them to make a move up the board at some point here.

Who will they be targeting? There are a number of possibilities. . .safeties, edge rushers, more offensive line help. . .but we won’t know until the pick is made.

We do know that, when the Vikings make a pick this evening, it will be announced by the great John Randle, as the NFL gets back to the tradition of having former players and other people associated with the 32 NFL teams getting involved in the draft again.

We will keep this thread up and running for as long as we’re able. If things start to bog down, one of the moderators will create a new thread and link it in the comments, so make sure to follow the action over there. Also, as Round 2 nears its conclusion, we will fire up the discussion thread for Round 3, so keep your eyes open for that.
