Mock Draft Database to return next week

Because reasons

You’ve probably noticed by now that yours truly did not end up getting around to updating the Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database this weekend, and for that I apologize. I had every intention of doing it over the weekend but wound up having other things arise that prevented me from doing so.

Then, the plan was to do it today, but with a couple of situations arising around the NFL. . .the Panthers making a trade for Sam Darnold and the situation that we’ve already detailed with the Vikings and cornerback Jeff Gladney. . .I decided that it would make more sense to let things sort of recalibrate themselves and see how things look when next weekend rolls around.

So, for next week’s update, we will be jumping right to our max of 100 mock drafts, and they will be the most recent 100 mocks that I can find from around the internet. That should give us, well and truly, the most accurate take on what’s happening with the projections for the Minnesota Vikings a little more than two weeks away from the 2021 NFL Draft.

If you have mocks that you feel should be included in the next iteration of the Mock Draft Database, you can send an e-mail to me at dailynorseman at gmail dot com with a link to it and I will make every effort to get it included in our next update.

My apologies again for not having an update for this weekend, folks. Sometimes things happen, but we’ll get things back on track this coming weekend.
