I saw news of Jeff Glaney’s arrest yesterday around the same time as of all of you, if you were one of those people who thought I was a little ham handed in the Gladney thread, get over it. If you weren’t around for the Adrian Peterson events of six years ago then you didn’t miss anything besides personal attacks, threats to our staff here at The Daily Norseman and the eventual loss of our open threads for about a year. We’re not doing that this time, like I told GA Skol last night it’s better to get ahead of it now.
If you didn’t notice I open the Daily Norseman Mailbag for reader questions, if you have something on your mind Vikings related drop me a comment in the mailbag article and I’ll answer it.
Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Tuesday, another day closer to the weekend.
Around the DN since our last open thread:
Report: Jeff Gladney arrested for felony family violence assault.

We come to today’s media selection: Led Zeppelin - When the Levee Breaks
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, tip your waiter from a safe distance, and Welcome Aboard!
