A quarterback, guord, linebacker and edge were the haul yesterday; I saw some stuff online about new Vikings QB Kellen Mond that he was either “a steal” or “needs mechanical help and can’t make certain throws.” I’m sure the truth is somewhere in the middle, but based on Kirk’s history of health he won’t see the field for meaningful play for a long time. I was excited the see the addition of guord Wyatt Davis though. He’s a bigger guy and considering the Darrisaw pick I wonder if the Vikings decided to make the offensive line bigger this year to counter the defensive lineman that have been living rent free in the backfield the last couple of years. Meanwhile, we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s the weekend, last day of the draft then we can get back to the full time arguing about who’s going to be good or a bust.
